1.1 What is the exact schedule for the game's sunset?

• October 30, 2026 – Minion Rush is removed from app stores and in-app purchases are disabled.
• January 29, 2027 – Customer Care support ends, online servers are shut down.

1.2 When will the game be removed from the App Store and Google Play?

Minion Rush will be removed from app stores on October 30, 2026. After this date, the game will no longer be available for download.

1.3 Will I be able to redownload the game if I accidentally delete it?

No. Once the game has been removed from app stores, it will no longer be available for download.

1.4 Can I continue playing after the game is removed from app stores?

Yes. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the online servers are shut down on January 29, 2027. However, there will be no further content updates, features, gameplay additions or customer service after this date.

1.5 When will the servers shut down?

The game's online servers will be shut down on January 29, 2027.

1.6 What happens when the servers shut down?

After the servers shut down, players who already have Minion Rush installed on their device will still be able to play an offline version of the game. Online features and services, including live events, leaderboards, cloud saves, social features, and other online functionality, will no longer be available. Some additional features available in the online version may also be unavailable in offline mode.

1.7 Will I still be able to access my account after the shutdown?

Online accounts and cloud-saved data will no longer be accessible after the servers are shut down on January 29, 2027. We recommend spending your remaining in-game currency before the game goes offline so you can enjoy the full range of content and features while they're still available.

1.8 Will there be an offline mode available after the servers close?

Yes. Players who already have Minion Rush installed on their device before the servers shut down will still be able to play the game's offline mode. The game must already be installed locally on the device, as it will no longer be available to download after it is removed from app stores. Online features and services will no longer be available. Customer Care will remain available until January 29, 2027.

1.9 What features will be available in offline mode?

Offline mode provides access to the game's core basic gameplay that is stored locally on your device. Features that rely on an internet connection will no longer be available after the servers close.

1.10 Will all my progress carry over to offline mode?

Where supported in the offline version, player progress will be preserved. Progress associated with online services and features will no longer be available after the servers are shut down.

1.11 Will offline mode be available forever?

We currently have no plans to disable the offline version completely. However, we cannot guarantee it will remain playable indefinitely, as future compatibility may be affected by external factors such as operating system updates or device support. There will also no longer be player support as of January 29, 2027.

2.1 When will in-app purchases be disabled?

In-app purchases will be disabled on October 30, 2026.

2.2 What will happen to my unused Tokens, Bananas, G-Coins, and other currencies?

Your tokens will remain available in the offline version of the game. However, because of the offline experience, there will be fewer places to spend it and fewer items or features available. We recommend spending your remaining in-game currency before January 29, 2027 to enjoy the full range of content and features while they're still available.

2.3 What happens to my unused purchased items?

Players will have sufficient time to complete active content and claim associated in-game rewards before the game goes offline on January 29, 2027. After the transition to offline mode, online-based services and features will no longer be available. The offline version may also have reduced functionality beyond online features.

2.4 Can I still make in-app purchases?

In-app purchases will be disabled on October 30, 2026.

2.5 Can I transfer my progress, purchases, or items to another game?

No. Progress, purchases, and items from Minion Rush cannot be transferred to other games.

2.6 Will I receive a refund for my purchases?

Purchases made before the game's sunset are not eligible for refunds, except where required by applicable law or the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made. We encourage players to use any remaining in-game currency and purchased items before the online services end. 3.1 Will there be any final in-game events or farewell activities?

Yes. A special farewell event will take place from October 1 to October 28, 2026.

3.2 Will the prices for Costumes, Bundles, and other items in the shop change?

Some prices and rewards may be adjusted during the final months. Certain content may become free or significantly easier to obtain. Soft in-game currency will remain available in the offline version of the game. However, there will be fewer ways to spend it. To get the most value from your remaining in-game currency, we recommend using it before the game goes offline on January 29, 2027.

3.3 Can I unlock content that was previously exclusive or premium?

Yes. Through January 29, 2027, progression and unlock requirements will be adjusted, making content faster and easier to obtain.

3.4 Will progression in Hall of Jam, Adventure Run, and other features be made easier during the final months?

Yes. Progression throughout the game will be accelerated so players can experience more content before the game’s servers go offline on January 29, 2027. Premium in-game rewards and limited-time event rewards will also become more accessible. Please remember to spend any in-game currencies and consumable items you may have before the game goes offline on January 29, 2027.

3.5 Will there be any new updates, items, or content?

No new content updates or features will be released for Minion Rush after the Farewell Event. The focus will be on allowing players to enjoy existing content through the end of service period.

3.6 What will happen to my game progress?

Online progress and cloud-saved data will no longer be accessible after the servers are shut down on January 29, 2027.

3.7 What will happen to my in-game items and inventory?

Items and progress associated with online services will no longer be available once the game's servers shut down on January 29, 2027. Some locally stored progress, items, and soft in-game currency will remain available in the offline version.

3.8 Is there anything I should do before the shutdown?

We recommend that you:

• Spend any remaining in-game currency.
• Participate in the farewell event.
• Unlock any content you'd like to experience.
• Keep an eye on official announcements regarding the sunset process.

4.1 What will happen to my personal data, game profile, and achievements?

Online account data will no longer be accessible after the game's servers are shut down. Some locally stored progress may remain available on your device through the offline version of the game. The collection, use, retention, and deletion of your personal data are governed by Gameloft's Privacy Policy. No dedicated export feature is planned. However, some progress may remain accessible on your device through the offline version of the game. There will also no longer be player support as of January 29, 2027.

4.4 What happens to social media logins (Facebook, Google Play, Apple ID) linked to the game?

These login connections will no longer be used once online services are discontinued on January 29, 2027.

Customer Care support will remain available until January 29, 2027.

5.2 What will happen to the official Minion Rush social media channels and website?

Official Minion Rush channels and website pages may be archived or removed when the game goes offline on January 29, 2027. To stay up to date with future Minions news, announcements, and franchise updates, we encourage you to follow the official @Minions and @Illumination social media channels.

5.3 Where can I find updates about the shutdown?

Any important updates will be communicated through official Minion Rush social channels and in-game messaging.

5.4 Why is Minion Rush sunsetting?

Since its release in 2013, Minion Rush has been enjoyed by a dedicated community and we hope you had a lot of fun playing the game. Unfortunately, our run is indeed coming to an end. As the mobile gaming landscape continues to evolve, we have made the difficult decision to wind down our services on January 29, 2027.
