I. How to Load the Game
Before you see the Main Menu, there will be a loading screen that will provide you with information about your version of the game, connect you to the game servers, download necessary updates, and show other useful information. After that there will be a short intro that you can either watch or skip before seeing the Main Menu.
II. How to Download Update Content
The Download Content pop-up is displayed when you first enter the game and consists of:
Download Base Game - Selecting this option will download only the basic set of assets. The rest of the content will be downloaded in the background while you play the game.
Download Full Game - Selecting this option will download all game content. For downloading the entire game, you will receive an in-game bonus.
III. Controls
Control your Minion with simple swipes:
● Swipe left – Move left
● Swipe right – Move right
● Swipe down – Slide under obstacles
● Swipe up – Jump over obstacles
IV. Game Basics
First time playing? To begin your adventure, simply tap the Run button on the Main Menu. During your very first run, a short tutorial will guide you through the basics. It’ll help you get familiar with the controls and core gameplay.
As you run, swipe left, right, up, or down to dodge obstacles, collect bananas, and grab power-ups that give you temporary boosts. You can also activate gadgets to make your run even more exciting and dynamic. Keep an eye out for puzzle pieces too, they help you progress in the Story Puzzle feature and unlock in-game rewards.
When your run ends, head over to check the missions you’ve completed and collect any rewards you've earned. Visit the Hall of Jam to unlock progression and keep leveling up your Player Profile, earning more bonuses along the way.
Feeling like a fresh look? Swing by the Wardrobe to learn how to unlock and pick out a new costume. Each unlocked costume not only changes your outfit but also gives you cumulative bonuses to your score and banana points.
Once you're all set, hit the Run button again and jump into your next run.
V. Main Menu
The Main Menu acts as a hub. You use it to start a run and navigate through menus and game features.
Player Profile
The Player Profile is a customizable feature that other players can view by clicking your avatar on the game’s leaderboards.
Here, you can unlock and equip avatars and frames to personalize your player profile. Your profile is visible to others when they click on your avatar in the leaderboard.
In the Player Profile, you’ll also have access to your leaderboard ranking, profile level, and settings.

Profile Level
Each player has a profile level that increases by completing special missions. As you level up, you'll earn both standard and daily in-game rewards. Daily rewards are delivered each day when you log into the game.
Your profile level is displayed on your avatar, in your profile, on the leaderboards, and in other parts of the game.
Leaderboard
If global leaderboards are enabled for your player account, you have access to two global leaderboards, “By Score” and “By Banana”, which display the best results of all players globally. Please review the Privacy Policy for more information about social features, including leaderboards.
*Social features and leaderboards are disabled for players under 13.
Settings
Settings is a game feature where you can find all the essential settings, along with additional information such as the Customer Care page, Minion Rush social media links, contact details, legal info, and more.
You can also access various cloud log-in options to get online saves that are not tied to the device. Please review the Privacy Policy for more information about social features.
Game HUD
Costumes you own provide cumulative bonus, helping you earn higher scores and more bananas during runs. The more costumes you unlock, the more bonuses you'll receive. Next to your Player Profile, you can see your current bonus percentage.
Currency
On the top right corner of the Main Menu, you can see currency numbers that you have in your possession. The game has two in-game currencies: G-Coins and Tokens.
G-Coins are premium in-game currency that can only be purchased with real money.
Tokens are in-game currency but can be purchased with real money or earned through gameplay.
Both in-game currencies can be used across multiple in-game features.
The Currency section allows you to purchase as many Tokens and G-Coins as you need. You can get Tokens as in-game rewards or buy them in the Store.
Season Pass
Season Pass is an in-game event that can last anywhere from 14 to 90 days, where you make runs to complete daily missions and earn Season Points. By earning Season Points, you unlock event stages that grant valuable in-game rewards. You can always purchase (with real money) a missing amount of Season Points to reach the next stage of the event.
Hall of Jam
Hall of Jam is the main progression feature of the game, where you unlock access to new content, features, and various in-game rewards by collecting a required number of bananas during runs in different locations. The Hall of Jam tank has a limit on how many bananas can be collected within a specific time, so don’t forget to refresh it when it’s full.
Special Bonus
Special Bonus is a monetization feature that rewards you with bonus items after making your first real money purchase in the game.
You’ll receive the first bonus immediately after your first purchase, and the remaining bonuses can be claimed every 24 hours after the previous one has been claimed. Once all bonuses are collected, the feature will disappear from your game.
One of the bonuses is the Skip Pop-up Ads bonus, which lets you enjoy uninterrupted gameplay without ads and receive other in-game items like costumes, tokens, blueprints, and gadgets.
Locations System
Minion Rush features various locations, each with a unique name, visual style, set of obstacles, level system, missions, and its own leaderboard.
All locations start at level one, and the types and combinations of obstacles, as well as the sets of available missions, depend on the location’s level.
You can access the location menu to view detailed information about each location you’ve unlocked and its missions by clicking 'Open Location' on the main menu, just above the Minion.
The game currently features 4 fully-developed locations: Gru’s Lab, Residential, Pier, and Vector’s Fortress. Each offering unique visuals, obstacles, level system, missions, and dedicated leaderboard. More locations are on the way—both refreshed versions of classic environments and entirely new ones.

Prize Wheel
Prize Wheel is an in-game event where you can earn various in-game rewards by making rolls using in-game currency or by watching ads. Each roll grants you a random reward from the available pool, and you can’t receive the same reward more than once.
The event is repeatable and refreshes every 24 hours with a new set of in-game rewards each time.
Growth Fund
Growth Fund is a monetization feature, unlocked with a one-time purchase (with real money) of a special bundle, that grants you additional in-game rewards, such as Tokens, for completing stages in the Hall of Jam.
Gadgets
Gadgets are a set of items with unique names, visuals, and abilities that you can equip before a run, and activate at any time during a run, to gain a temporary effect. You can take up to three gadgets at a time and each gadget has a limited number of charges. You won’t be able to activate a gadget if you run out of charges during the run.
You also have access to a gadget inventory, where you can explore all available gadgets, learn about their abilities, and upgrade them. Upgrading gadgets will increase the duration of the ability.
Endless Run
Endless Run is the main game mode that lets you control a Minion by swiping left, right, down, or up as you run through a location, avoiding various obstacles to collect bananas and the highest score you can. Equip your Minion with various gadgets and power-ups to assist you during the run.
The run lasts for an unlimited amount of time and ends only when your Minion crashes into an obstacle or you choose to end the run from the Pause Menu. Revive your Minion a limited number of times after colliding with an obstacle by using the Revive option, available through watching an ad or spending a set amount of in-game currency.
After the run, you’ll see the Results Menu, which displays your performance, including unlocked achievements, completed missions, and more.
Store
The in-game store gives you options to different sets of offers and in-game content.
Featured – A selection of regular and unique in-game offers promoting bundles.
Bundles – A collection of all available in-game offers that package one to three items of any type. Bundles can be free or be purchased for a certain amount with real money.
Currency – Six packs available for each currency type with a set amount of currency at a defined price.
Chests – Open two chests with keys to receive random items. Earn keys by completing various in-game activities.
Growth Fund – Extra rewards in the form of in-game Tokens for progressing in the Hall of Jam feature, unlocked with a one-time purchase (real money) of a special pack.
Inventory
The Inventory gives you access to your Wardrobe, Power-Ups, and Gadgets all in one place.
Wardrobe
There are over 150 costumes available in-game, each with a unique name, appearance, and rarity. Unlocking a costume grants you a bonus to your score and banana earnings during runs.
Access the Wardrobe menu to view all the costumes you've unlocked, as well as explore detailed information about each one, including how to obtain it.
Power-Ups
Power-Ups are a set of in-game items with unique names, visuals, and abilities that you can obtain for a limited time during a run. There’s also a Random Box power-up that activates any power-up you've previously unlocked.
You can view all available power-ups and their abilities, along with upgrading them, in the Power-Up Collection menu.
Collections
This section features both the Costume Collection and the Story Puzzles.
Costume Collections
The game features Costume Collections, each with a unique theme and 5 or more costumes that can be unlocked one by one using blueprints specific to that collection.
Blueprints are items you can earn by completing various in-game tasks and goals that are used to unlock specific costumes in the Costume Collection.
The Costume Collections has detailed information about each collection and the costumes included.
By default, only a portion of the Costume Collections is visible. The rest becomes available as you progress through the Hall of Jam.
Story Puzzles
Story Puzzle is a feature where you reveal pictures piece by piece by collecting puzzle pieces during your runs. Completing a full picture rewards you with various in-game items.
The game includes three themed blocks, each containing several themes with five or more pictures to complete. By default, one theme from each block is available, with additional themes unlocking as you progress through the Hall of Jam.
Each block uses its own type of Story Puzzle, distinguished by color. When you collect a Story Puzzle, it reveals a random piece of a picture within the matching block. You can accelerate your progress using a Wild Puzzle Piece, which unlocks a piece in any block, regardless of type. Wild Puzzle Pieces can be purchased with real money or earned through in-game rewards.
Every block has its own reward track. By completing all the pictures in a block, you’ll earn bonus rewards.
Events
Here, you can access Tournaments, the Prize Wheel, Season Pass, and Score Challenge.
Tournaments
Tournaments are in-game events where you compete with other players on a leaderboard by completing missions and earning Tournament Points. As you collect Tournament Points, you climb the leaderboard and progress through tournament stages to unlock in-game rewards. At the end of each tournament, players receive in-game rewards based on their final leaderboard position.
There are two types of tournaments: Daily Tournament, which refreshes every 24 hours, and Weekly Tournament, which refreshes every 168 hours. When a tournament resets, leaderboard positions, missions, and stage rewards are all refreshed.
VI. Game Screen
[1] Gadgets – Shows how many gadgets you currently have with you during the run.
[2] Puzzle Pieces – Indicates the number of puzzle pieces you’ve collected in this run.
[3] Bananas & Score – Displays how many bananas and score points you’ve earned so far.
[4] Pause Button – Allows you to pause the game at any time.
[5] Mission Status – Shows the missions you're currently working on or have completed during this run, along with how many bananas, score points, and various in-game actions are left to redeem.
[6] Pause Menu: Goals – Displays your nearest goal to complete when you pause the game.
[7] Pause Menu: Leave Button – Takes you back to the game’s main menu after pausing the game.
[8] Gadget Activated – Shows active gadget and how much time is left before it ends. You can take up to 3 items with you into a run, but only one gadget or power-up can be active at a time.
[9] Power-Ups Activated – Displays the active power-up. If you collect more than one, the previous one is paused until the newest one finishes.
VII. Actions
Collect Bananas – Gather bananas scattered throughout the various locations to increase your banana count, contribute to your mission progress, and progress through the Hall of Jam.
Collect and Activate Power-Ups – Pick up power-ups during the run to gain temporary abilities that help you avoid obstacles or boost your score. They activate automatically upon pick up.
Activate Gadgets – Use gadgets during the run to trigger special abilities. Gadgets must be activated manually and consume charges.
Revive – Bring your Minion back into the run after crashing by watching an ad or spending in-game currency.
Collect Puzzle Pieces – Pick up puzzle pieces during the run to complete Story Puzzle pictures and unlock in-game rewards.
Pause – Temporarily stop the run at any time to take a break, check goals, or exit.
Finish the Run – End the run either by crashing into an obstacle or manually stopping it via the pause menu.
VIII. Build Requirements
The build requirement ensures compatibility by setting specific parameters for devices where the game can be installed. This guarantees optimal performance and a seamless user experience.
Supported Devices:
iOS (Apple): Devices running firmware 13.0 or higher, starting from iPhone 6s / 6s Plus and above.
Google Play (Android): Devices running firmware 7.0 or higher with at least 2GB RAM and support for OpenGL 3.0 or higher.
